In order to provide students with an opportunity to explore the wide range of career prospects in the green industry, the MSc EHS Program Office organized a visit to Ocean Park on Wednesday, 6th March 2024. The focal point of this in-park program was 'Marine Mammal Training and Husbandry'. During the visit, students had the privilege to explore the Behind-The-Scene areas of The Ocean Theatre. They had the chance to interact with Cissy, a marine mammal trainer in the Ocean Theatre, who shared invaluable insights into the daily operations of animal caretakers, the specialized equipment used by marine mammal trainers, and the challenges they face. The students found the visit to Ocean Park to be both captivating and educational.
